Prairie Rivers of IA Produces Two New Videos for Breweries, Distilleries, and Wineries

Having received an Iowa Tourism Grant to make two 2-3 minute videos and a brochure about breweries, distilleries, and wineries in eastern Iowa, we did not let a pandemic or derecho stop us! Two University of Iowa Master of Fine Arts (MFA) graduate students filmed four locations: Wide River Winery in Clinton, Mississippi River Distilling Company in LeClaire, Cedar Ridge Winery and Distillery in Swisher, and Big Grove Brewery in Iowa City.
These four locations were more than accommodating, even in the throes of a pandemic. Rules changed almost daily for them and the University of Iowa, but we were able to persevere. The videos have been uploaded to YouTube and can be viewed here and here. The owners’ passion for their businesses shines through and with the students’ expertise in editing, the Lincoln Highway’s history is shared subtly.
